Our standard
- Debate ideas, not people. No harassment, intimidation, personal attacks or threats.
- Protect privacy. No doxxing or publication of private identifying information.
- Protect survivors and children. No victim-blaming, outing survivors, exploitative graphic descriptions or identifying minors in sensitive cases.
- No hate speech. Content attacking people on the basis of protected identity is not acceptable.
- Be evidence-aware. Distinguish opinion from fact. Cite reliable sources for consequential factual claims when possible. Deliberate or dangerous misinformation may be removed.
- Disagree constructively. Criticism of governments, institutions, policies and public ideas is welcome; unsupported accusations about identifiable individuals are not.
- No spam or manipulation. Repetitive promotion, scams, impersonation and coordinated disruption may be removed.
Moderation
Moderators may hold, edit where technically appropriate, remove or close content that violates these standards, and may restrict participation when necessary to protect the community. Context matters, especially when documenting abuse, discrimination or public-interest events.
