Diane died in Yaoundé. A National Gendarmerie account, subsequently reviewed by MMI, said her boyfriend was arrested on 17 August and that investigators reconstructed the incident.

Daïna Tikeng

Daïna was found dead after reportedly leaving a marriage in which there had been repeated violence. Her husband was reported arrested on 11 August.

Irène Dorothée Ngo, 36

Irène died at a residence in Yaoundé. Cameroon Tribune reported that investigators arrested a man described as her lover and reconstructed the killing.

Bronhilda died in Soa. Later police reporting said her husband had been arrested and a reconstruction carried out.

Modestine was reported killed at her home in Logpom. Accounts said her husband was detained following the attack.

MMI reports that Lydie was fatally beaten by her husband and that neighbours heard her cries. She was taken to hospital and declared dead.
